This piece was created for a contest on The Art of The Haunted Mansion Facebook page. The theme of the contest was Haunted Mansion/Marvel mash-up. This was the first of two that I created.
For those of you who don't get the Marvel reference, it is kind of obscure, the bust is of a character named Uatu. He is also known as The Watcher. He is part of an alien race whose job is to watch and record all events in the universe. So naturally that character lent itself nicely to becoming a staring bust in the changing portrait hallway.
The drawing itself was a pencil sketch that I inked, scanned into photoshop, and colored digitally.
